Please help make a difference in the lives of abused victims and their children. Whether you give your time, financial support, or your voice, it all adds up to helping WSLB reach its mission of eliminating domestic abuse and violence.
Donate – To shelter, feed and counsel one domestic abuse victim costs $142 per day --- or an average of $2,840 for their entire stay at the emergency shelter. WSLB also offers hundreds of survivors and their children services through the Domestic Violence Resource Center. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Volunteer – All volunteers must obtain 40-hours of Domestic Violence training (see below). Once screened and trained, volunteers can help the agency in a variety of ways: by working directly with victims or their children, conducting outreach presentations and staffing booths at community events, and by providing clerical or administrative assistance.
